Overview
The Australian Rockbolting Practices CD Rom provides all underground mine workers with the knowledge and understanding of rock bolting practices, procedures and equipment. The aim of the CD Rom is to improve the knowledge of the workforce on all aspects of rockbolting practices, including: rock support principles, installation procedures, quality control and safety tips.
Helping workers with literacy and numeracy difficulties
A major feature of the CD Rom is the accompanying literacy support material that allows the trainer to assess the comprehension of the viewing audience. The support material, easy to follow format and high quality mining images extend the usability and accessibility of the CD Rom to all workers who may have literacy and/or numeracy difficulties.
Meeting your training needs
The CD Rom may be used for training purposes with both groups and individuals. The CD Rom is structured as an interactive resource and is available for reference by individuals on an on-going basis.
