Readership: This short course introduced the concept of seismicity and rockbursting in mines, with topics including: basic concepts and theory; rockburst damage mechanisms; seismic monitoring systems; interpreting mine seismicity data and understanding mine seismicity through numerical modelling. It discussed measures to manage the risks associated with mine seismicity and rockbursting such as mining strategies and dynamic resistant ground support.
